Tamsulosin 0.4mg & Dutasteride 0.5mg Tablets

(Tamsulosin) is in a class of medications called alpha blockers.

It is widely used to treat the symptoms of BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH It works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder so that urine can flow easily.

INDICATIONS:

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)

Incomplete bladder emptying

Painful urination

Urinary frequency & urgency.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Tamsulosin is in a class of medications called alpha blockers. It works by blocking the Alpha-1 receptors in the bladder, prostate, ureter & urethra,thereby relaxing the smooth muscle, so that urine can flow easily.

DOSAGE:

The dose range varies from 0.4 – 0.8 mg, once daily, based on the condition of the patient.
