Description:
SILODOLIX 4 (Silodosin) is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist used in the management of urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Indications:
? Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
? Difficulty in urination, weak stream, incomplete bladder emptying

Mechanism of Action:
Silodosin selectively blocks alpha-1A adrenergic receptors in the prostate and bladder neck, leading to relaxation of smooth muscle. This improves urine flow and reduces symptoms of urinary obstruction without significantly affecting blood pressure.

Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is 4 mg once daily with food or as directed by the physician.
