KYSOLONE (Methylprednisolone) belongs to a class of drugs called glucocorticoids.It is primarily prescribed for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

KYSOLONE Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid (cortisone-like medicine or steroid). It works on the immune system to help relieve swelling, redness, itching, and allergic reactions. It does so by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers like prostaglandins.

DOSAGE:

Initial Dose: 4 to 48 mg/day or as directed by the physician.
