Description:
TRANXOMIXS SR 500 (Tranexamic Acid Sustained Release) is an antifibrinolytic agent used to control excessive bleeding.

Indications:
? Menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding)
? Bleeding disorders where reduction of blood loss is required
? Post-procedural or trauma-related bleeding (as advised)

Mechanism of Action:
Tranexamic Acid inhibits activation of plasminogen to plasmin, preventing fibrin degradation and stabilizing blood clots. The SR formulation provides prolonged action with better compliance.

Dosage:
Dosage depends on the severity of the condition and patient response.
Usually administered once or twice daily or as directed by the physician.
