TACO RILAX (Tacrolimus) belongs to a class of medications called Immunosuppressants

INDICATIONS/

Tacrolimus is also used with other medications to prevent rejection of a kidney, heart, liver, or lung transplant.

It is also used to treat allergic conditions like redness & swelling

HOW IT WORKS:

TACO RILAX (Tacrolimus) is an immunosuppressant. In organ transplant patients, it works by suppressing the body?s immune response, helping the body to accept the new organ.

In allergic eye disease, it works by decreasing the production of chemicals (eg. histamine) that cause allergic eye symptoms such as inflammation (redness and swelling).

DOSAGE:

0.03 – 0.05 mg/kg/day in kidney transplant & 0.01mg/kg/day in heart transplant or as directed by the doctor
