MIP-QUE (Quetiapine) belongs to a class of medications called Atypical-Antipsychotics.

This medication is widely used for the treatment of certain mental/mood disorders.

INDICATIONS:

Schizophrenia

Bipolar Disorder

Sudden episodes of mania or depression associated with bipolar disorder.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

MIP-QUE (Quetiapine) improves the positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia and major depression by acting on various neurotransmitter receptors, such as the serotonin and dopamine receptors. In bipolar disorder, it improves both depressive and manic symptoms.

DOSAGE:

1 Tablet once twice or thrice a day

Max Dose – 800mg/day.
