MIPSTAM (Piracetam) belongs to a class of drugs known as nootropics. It is generally used for the treatment Seizures, Vertigo and other mental diseases and disorders.

INDICATIONS:

Epilepsy Seizures

Dyslexia (A learning disorder marked by difficulty reading)

Alzheimer’s disease

Dementia in Parkinson’s disease

Head Injury

Cortical myoclonus

(A movement disorder that causes short and uncontrollable twitching or jerky movements of arms and legs.)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

MIPSTAM (Piracetam) works by increasing the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) by acting on muscarinic cholinergic (ACh) receptors, which improves communication between the nerve cells. It also protects the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen.

DOSAGE:

800mg (1.5 – 2 Teaspoons) 3 times a day.
