Vilazodone Hydrochloride Tablets 20/40 mg.

VILZOCAR (Vilazodone) is an Anti-depressant medicine which belongs to a class of drugs known as SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors). It is used for the treatment of depression and other mental disorders.

INDICATIONS:

Depression

Bipolar Disorder

OCD (Obsessive compulsive disorder)

Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

VILZOCAR (Vilazodone) works by increasing the serotonin levels. Serotonin is a chemical messenger in the brain responsible for improving the mood and physical symptoms of depression. VILZOCAR helps in relieving anxiety symptoms in patients with a generalised anxiety disorder (GAD).

DOSAGE : The dose range varies from 10-40 mg/day, depending upon the condition of the Patient.
