MOMETASONE FUROATE CREAM 0.1% W/W

mometasone furoate Ointment USP, 0.1% contains: 1 mg mometasone furoate, USP in an ointment base of hexylene glycol, phosphoric acid, propylene glycol monopalmitostearate, purified water, white petrolatum, and white wax.

Mometasone is used to relieve the redness, swelling, itching and inflammation and discomfort of various skin conditions, including psoriasis (a skin disease in which red, scaly patches form on some areas of the body and eczema (a skin disease that causes the skin to be dry and itchy.

It is used to treat skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, allergies, and rash. Mometasone decreases swelling (inflammation), itching, and redness. Mometasone is a medium-strength corticosteroid.
