Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg Tablets

AYDRAZIDE (Hydrochlorothiazide) belongs to the class of medications called diuretics (‘water pills’). This medication is generally used to treat Hypertension and some other cardiovascular Disorders.

INDICATIONS :

Hypertension (High blood pressure)

Stroke

Heart attack

Kidney problems

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

AYDRAZIDE (Hydrochlorothiazide) lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. It helps in losing out excess fluids from the body by increasing the production of urine. This reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

DOSAGE :

One Tablet twice a day.

Max dose – 100 mg/day.
