KEXASONE (Dexamethasone) belongs to a group of medicines called cortico- steroids. It is used in the treatment of various diseases and conditions such as inflammatory conditions, autoimmune conditions, and cancer.

Allergic reactions

Inflammation

Asthma

Helps in recovery from Covid-19

Cerebral edema (Fluid build-up around the brain)

Atopic & Contact Dermatitis

Multiple sclerosis (It is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord).

Used along with other drugs to treat the following types of cancer: Leukemia. Lymphoma.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Dexamethasone?s effect on the body occurs in a variety of ways. It works by suppressing the migration of neutrophils and decreasing lymphocyte colony proliferation. It also reduces the membrane permeability, thereby reducing the concentration of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and cytokines.

DOSAGE: 1 Tablet once or twice a day or as directed by the physician.
