Koffrave AX (Ambroxol 15 mg / Terbutaline 1.25 mg / Guaifenesin 50 mg per 5 ml)

Koffrave AX is a combination syrup containing Ambroxol, Terbutaline, and Guaifenesin.

This combination is used for the treatment of productive cough and respiratory conditions with mucus congestion in adults and children, as directed by a physician.

INDICATIONS:

Productive cough

Respiratory tract congestion

Bronchial disorders with mucus secretion

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus in the airways, facilitating easier expectoration.

Terbutaline is a selective beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle, relieving bronchospasm.

Guaifenesin is an expectorant that increases bronchial secretions, helping clear mucus from the airways.

Together, they improve mucus clearance and relieve cough and breathing difficulty.

DOSAGE:

5 ml syrup two to three times daily, or as directed by the physician, depending on the patient?s condition.
