KOFFRAVE BX (pfizer.com)

KOFFRAVE BX is combination of 3 medicinal ingredients: Bromhexine,

Guaifenesin, and Terbutaline.

This combination is generally used for the treatment of cough with mucus.

INDICATION:

Cough

Common cold

Bronchitis

Wheezing

Shortness of breath

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Terbutaline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways.

Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.

DOSAGE:

2 Teaspoons 3 times a day, or as directed by the doctor.
