Febuxostat Tablets 40 & 80 mg.

KY-FEBU (Febuxostat) belongs to a class of drugs known as Xanthine oxidase inhibitors.

INDICATIONS:

KY-FEBU (Febuxostat) is used to lower hyperuricemia (high uric acid in the blood) in patients with gout who have been treated with allopurinol that did not work well or cannot be treated with allopurinol.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Febuxostat is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It works by decreasing blood uric acid, which is the chemical that causes gout.

DOSAGE:-The general dose range of Febuxostat is 40-80mg/day.
