MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Metoprolol Tartrate is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It works by reducing heart rate, cardiac output, and blood pressure, thereby decreasing the heart?s oxygen demand and workload.

DOSAGE:

1 tablet once daily, or as directed by the physician, depending on the patient?s condition.
