Kypraz ER 2.5 contains Prazosin Hydrochloride Extended-Release, a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker used to manage cardiovascular conditions.

This medicine is used for the treatment of hypertension in adults.

INDICATIONS:

Hypertension

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Prazosin Hydrochloride selectively blocks alpha-1 adrenergic receptors in blood vessels, causing relaxation of vascular smooth muscle, reduction in peripheral resistance, and lowering of blood pressure.

DOSAGE:

1 tablet once daily, or as directed by the physician, depending on the patient?s condition.
