Description:
KYURIX 0.4 (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride MR) is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker used for the treatment of urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Indications:
? Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
? Difficulty in urination, weak urine flow, increased urinary frequency

Mechanism of Action:
Tamsulosin selectively blocks alpha-1A adrenergic receptors in the prostate, bladder neck, and urethra, causing relaxation of smooth muscle. This improves urine flow and reduces symptoms of urinary obstruction with minimal effect on blood pressure.

Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is 0.4 mg once daily, preferably after the same meal each day, or as directed by the physician.
