PRASOVELL (Prasugrel) is an Anti-platelet medication.It is used along with aspirin to prevent serious or life-threatening problems of the heart and/or blood vessels.

Heart Attack

Strokes

Used to prevent blood clots in stents

It is given to patients before they have a heart procedure called percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). (A procedure used to open clogged coronary arteries)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

PRASOVELL (Prasugrel) works by preventing platelets from sticking together, thereby decreasing the formation of harmful blood clots. This lowers the chances of heart attack or stroke.

DOSAGE:

The general dose of this medicine is 10mg/day, or as directed by the physician.
