TALKOTUN AM (Telmisartan 40 mg / Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg / Amlodipine 5 mg)

TALKOTUN AM is a combination of three antihypertensive medicines: Telmisartan, Hydrochlorothiazide, and Amlodipine.

This combination is used for the treatment of hypertension in adults.

Hypertension

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.

Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that increases the excretion of sodium and water, reducing blood volume and blood pressure.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes vascular smooth muscle, reducing peripheral resistance and blood pressure.

Together, they provide effective and complementary blood pressure control.

DOSAGE:

1 tablet once daily, or as directed by the physician, depending on the patient?s condition.
