Ursodeoxycholic Acid Tablets 300mg

YOURSOPIL (Ursodeoxycholic Acid) is a hepatoprotective medication. It is generally used for the treatment of diseases & disorders related to liver and gallbladder.

INDICATIONS:

Gallbladder stones.

Primary biliary cirrhosis (A chronic disease in which the bile ducts in your liver are slowly destroyed.)

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

YOURSOPIL works by reducing the amount of cholesterol in the blood and helps dissolve gallbladder stones that are composed mainly of cholesterol. It also improves liver enzymes, protects liver cells from injury caused due to toxic bile acids, and improves liver function.

DOSAGE:

Usual dosage: 8 to 10 mg/kg/day,i.e, 4 – 6 150 mg tablets, or 2 – 3tablets of 300 mg, or 2 tablets of 450 mg.

The daily dose can be administered two or three times after the meals: two tablets should always be taken after the evening meal.
