DESTROVIA 3/0.03 is a combination of two medicines used for contraception (to prevent pregnancy) and in the treatment of irregular periods. It helps to prevent the release and fertilization of the egg.

MECHANISM OF ACTION :

Drospirenone (3mg) and Ethinyl Estradiol (0.03mg) is a combination oral contraceptive that works by preventing pregnancy through several mechanisms. Primarily, it suppresses ovulation by inhibiting the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). Additionally, it alters cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to penetrate the cervix, and changes the endometrial lining, making it less suitable for implantation
