CALTIC 0.25 contains Calcitriol, which is a form of vitamin D3. It helps your body to efficiently absorb calcium. It is widely used to treat metabolic bone disease in people who have chronic kidney failure and are not receiving dialysis.

Chronic kidney failure

Hyperparathyroidism (overactive parathyroid glands)

Osteoporosis

Metabolic bone disease

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Calcitriol (Vit – D) acts on cells in the gastrointestinal tract to increase the production of calcium transport proteins, which results in increased uptake of calcium from the gut into the body.

USAGE:

1 Tablet once a day (Given in the morning) or as directed by the physician.
