Alfuzosin Hydrochloride 10mg

ZUALFA is an alpha-adrenergic antagonist that is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps to relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine. However, it does not decrease the size of the prostate.

INDICATIONS:

Treats Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
Helps improve urine flow
Lowers urinary urgency
Prevents urinary retention

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

Alfuzosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. This relaxation helps improve urine flow and reduces symptoms like difficulty starting urination or weak stream. By easing pressure in the urinary tract, it helps empty the bladder more fully. It does not shrink the prostate, but makes urination easier

DOSAGE:

Tablet taken orally twice a day or as directed by the doctor.
