FLUCITAS (Fluconazole) belongs to a class of drugs called Triazoles.

This medication is widely used to treat Fungal skin infections.

INDICATIONS:

FLUCITAS (Fluconazole) is used to treat serious fungal or yeast infections,including:-

Vaginal / Oropharyngeal / Esophageal Candidiasis –

(Fungal infections of vagina mouth and esophagus) .

Urinary Tract Infections.

Peritonitis [Inflammation Of The Lining Of The Stomach]

MECHANISM OF ACTION:

FLUCITAS (Fluconazole) is a triazole antifungal agent. Its primary mode of action is the inhibition of fungal cytochrome P-450-mediated 14 alpha-lanosterol demethylation, an essential step in fungal ergosterol biosynthesis. Ergosterol plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of Fungal cell Membrane, Thereby inhibiting its synthesis Causes an Anti-fungal effect.

DOSAGE:

1 Tablet once a day for 7 days.
