Monosulfiram Soap 5% w/w

Monosulfiram is an ectoparasiticide used in the treatment and prevention of scabies. It is usually sold as a solution or medicated soap, sometimes in combination with benzyl benzoate.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Monosulfiram is toxic to the mites. Once the mites come in contact with monosulfiram, they cannot move. Thereby giving an immediate relief from itching. Within a few hours of exposure to this medicated soap, the mites die, thus curing scabies & infections associated with it.

HOW TO USE:

Apply MONSENSE soap all over the body paying special attention to the folds of the skin. Lather liberally.

Rinse off with lukewarm water.

After bathing, the body should be allowed to dry naturally or dried with a towel using a ‘blotting’ action.
